Founded by Steel Thomas, Quantum Industrial was built on a lifetime of experience in the steel industry. Raised in a family of Union Ironworkers, Steel grew up hearing firsthand how steel projects can succeed or fail based on communication, planning, and execution.
After attending trade school for welding, Steel began his career in a fabrication shop, learning the importance of precision, quality control, and delivering every piece exactly to specification. He then spent more than a decade in the ironworking trade, gaining hands-on experience in structural steel erection, team leadership, safety, and field operations.
Later, Steel joined a general contractor, where he developed a broader understanding of project management, trade coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and the challenges contractors face every day.
With experience spanning fabrication, installation, and general contracting, one solution became clear:
